Are you looking to buy Bezzera Aria V Espresso Coffee Machine (1.5L HX Boiler, Pressurestat, Vibration Pump, Tank Only) in Australia?

The Bezzera ARIA V (vibration pump) can be installed anywhere without the need for connections to the water mains. A compact machine with a big heart; despite its small size thanks to the boiler with heat exchanger and the E61 type lever group powered by a thermosiphonic circulation hydraulic system, the ARIA model guarantees thermal stability like a commercial machine.

The boiler system with a heat exchanger allows for the extraction of espresso and the steaming of milk to occur at the same time.

Beautiful and robust stainless-steel finish.

  • Stainless-steel boiler
  • Available with Black panels, also available with Rotary pump (see the Aria R model)
  • Thermosiphonic circulation
  • Automatic entry of water into the boiler
  • Automatic stop of the resistances in case of lack of water in the tank
  • Single and double portafilters
  • Accessories: Blind basket, Measuring spoon and Group brush
  • Made in Italy

1x Bezzera Aria V
1x Single Portafilter (with 10g Single-Shot Basket)
1x Double Portafilter (with 20g Triple Shot Basket)

Coffee Espresso Machine Terminology Explained

PID VS Pressurestat

A PID has two additional features over the pressurestat.

  1. More precise control of the temperature
  2. Narrows the deadband of temperature fluctuation

Here is an example of PID versus Pressurestat.

Dual Boiler / Vs Single Heat Exchanger

Vibration vs Rotary Pump

A rotary vane pump will ramp up to 9 bar quickly and smoothly, whereas the vibration pump will build pressure through a pulsing action that takes a few more seconds. Some will argue this slower build up as as advantage to avoid channeling. others argue the rotary pump provides a more linear build up that promotes consistency. They are different, you can get amazing espresso using either type of pump.

On the cost side of things, rotary pumps are more expensive and if used with high quality water will last seemingly forever. Vibration pumps can fail in as short as one year or can last for decades (water quality really matters here), but they are cheap and easy to replace.

Rotary pumps sound smoother and are a little bit quieter as they don't vibrate and rattle around as much - but which sounds better is sometimes subjective to the individual.
