These mineral concentrates are made of demineralised water and analytical reagent grade minerals (AR), ensuring very high levels of purity.

This box contains: TONIK [1], JAMM [2] and LYLAC [3].

TONIK [1] has been formulated to enhance the vibrant acidity of your coffee and will impart a crisp, intense, and juicy kick to your brew.

JAMM [2] has been formulated to enhance the richness and depth of your coffee and will accentuate the lingering sweetness and creamy mouthfeel of your brew.

LYLAC [3] has been formulated to enhance the delicate and floral characteristics of your coffee, ensuring an elegant, refined and graceful addition to your brew with a silky mouthfeel.

Available in two different sizes.

Each 20mL bottle of mineral concentrate allows for approximately 30 brews.

Each 100mL bottle of mineral concentrate allows for approximately 150 brews.

How to Use

Shake the bottle thoroughly for a few seconds before use.

Open the bottle and use the dropper to dose into demineralised water or directly into your coffee.

We recommend using 3 to 4g of mineral concentrate per litre of water, or 1 to 10 drops directly into the cup.

Each profile will elevate a brew on its own, but they have also been formulated to be blended together to achieve more specific results. These mineral concentrates are to coffee what seasoning is to food. They won't turn a bad dish into a good one, but they can turn a good one into something outstanding! Our profiles have been designed to help you "season" your coffee easily so you can give it the unique expression you want.

There are two ways to use APAX LAB mineral concentrates:

1. Adding the mineral concentrate into your brew water

Using demineralised or low mineral content water (soft water), add 3 to 4 grams of APAX LAB concentrate per litre of water.

2. Adding your mineral concentrate directly to your coffee

• For filter coffee (200mL) - add 5 to 10 drops.
• For espresso (40mL) - add 1 to 2 drops.
• For milk-based coffee (150mL) - add 3 to 6 drops.

There are endless ways to use and combine our mineral concentrates but if you're just getting started and looking for best practices on how to use and combine them depending on the coffee you're making, we've created this guide.

We've found that our profiles truly shine within the range of 90 to 120ppm (3 to 4g/L when diluted in demineralised water). They were designed to give you the flexibility to make precise adjustments according to your preferences.

Although each of our three different profiles tastes great on their own, mixing them allows you to unlock the unparalleled strengths of each one, resulting in more targeted and customised outcomes.

1. Communicating about recipes

In order to make recipe sharing simple, we use a series a number in a specific order which refers to the profiles below:

TONIK [1] / JAMM [2] / LYLAC [3]  - g/L

Examples:

2/1/1 means - 2g TONIK [1] / 1g JAMM [2] / 1g LYLAC [3] per L of water

0/1/3 means - 0g TONIK [1] / 1g JAMM [2] / 3g LYLAC [3] per L of water

2/2/0 means - 2g TONIK [1] / 2g JAMM [2] / 0g LYLAC [3] per L of water
